We had a few spare hours one afternoon, so Mike, Chris, and I went to Detroit to catch a Tigers’ game. They were playing the Washington Nationals and it was neat to be there because I have some ties to DC. Detroit blew the Nats out of the water – the final score was 1

So we spent a few days in Michigan last week. It was my first time to that part of the country, and also my first time that far north. We drove through North Carolina, Kentucky, and Ohio, and it was my first time to see Ohio, too! We stopped for gas somewhere near Bowling Green
One of the greatest (and saddest) parts of our trip to Greece was being constantly surrounded by kitties. They were all super skittish and didn’t want anything to do with my unsolicited petting, but I still always tried. I wanted so badly to save them all! Pretty much every part of the city is inhabited
Our last day in Italy was the most relaxing, by far. It was definitely a nice way to end my two week stay, and I’m sure my Aunt and Cousin enjoyed themselves. Negombo is a thermal park on the island of Ischia. It gives the illusion of being secluded – it’s surrounded on three sides
After our exhausting 2-day Rome excursion, we enjoyed a much needed “day of rest” at my dad’s. On Sunday, our second to last day in Italy, my aunt, cousin, and I spent several hours enjoying a mini cruise to Positano. We met our tour bus at the Naval base and then boarded our boat at

Day three started off early and much more successfully than day 2. We got up, had breakfast, and then immediately set out to visit an ancient graveyard set along the old entrance to the city. We saw this Greek Orthodox chuch on the way, And this one once we’d gotten there, We also saw this
Day 2 started off fairly early. Or at least I thought it was early. Apparently I’m a novice traveler. I forgot to set my phone an hour ahead to Greek time. Apparently the iPhone doesn’t do that automatically when you’re abroad. Who knew? I didn’t. So I woke up at 6:10 to meet my dad
Today we visited Herculaneum and hiked to the top of Mt. Vesuvius with Madison and Aunt Donna. Will be posting about that soon! —- On Friday, my Dad and I headed to the airport fairly early to catch a flight to Athens. It’s only about 1.5 hour in the air. Once in Athens, we made
